How do MTG sets rotate out?
ReplyingTheft路7 months agoMTG sets rotate out based on the game's Standard format, which keeps the play environment fresh. Every fall, when a new set is released, the oldest four sets in Standard rotate out. This means you gotta keep your deck updated if you're playing Standard, or else you'll be that person showing up with last year's fashion at the party - a big no-no!

They basically just cycle out the old for the new every year. Keeps things spicy!
Honestly, set rotation is just a way to make us spend more money. But hey, who can resist those shiny new cards?
Rotation happens like clockwork! As someone who's seen a few rotations, it's exciting but also a bit sad to say goodbye to some favorites. Just remember, they're still playable in other formats like Modern or Commander.
