How do NPCs spawn in Terraria?
AttendingStoke路8 months agoNPCs in Terraria show up when you meet certain conditions. For most of them, you need to build a suitable house for them to live in. That means walls, a door, a chair, a table, and light sources, among other requirements. Each NPC has its own specific needs to spawn. For example, the Merchant requires you to have at least 50 silver coins, and the Nurse will only arrive once you've defeated your first boss or naturally if you have enough health.

NPCs are like party guests; they need an invite to show up. Build them a nice place to stay (proper housing), and they'll come running. Got 50 silver? Expect a Merchant. Show off your battle scars (or HP) and a Nurse might move in. It's like real estate and personal achievements rolled into one.
Just build a house, lol. If it's good enough, they'll come.
Each NPC has a 'trigger' to spawn, like defeating certain bosses or having a specific amount of money. Make sure your houses are up to code though - proper size, furniture, and lighting are essential.
