Pros often use a combination of shuffling methods to ensure their deck is well-mixed. The most common combo is riffle shuffling (where the deck is split into two roughly equal parts and then the corners are interweaved together) followed by some overhand shuffles for good measure. The key is to be gentle to avoid damaging the cards, especially since some can be quite valuable. Oh, and they almost always use card sleeves to protect their decks!

Mash shuffle. It's like a gentle riffle shuffle but without bending the cards as much. Just cut the deck in half and gently 'mash' the corners together. Easier on your cards and just as effective.

Honestly, I've seen some just pile shuffle and call it a day. Not the best method if you ask me, but hey, to each their pro.

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
