How do Sideboards work in MTG?
TargetingDirt路7 months agoIn MTG, a sideboard is like your personal toolkit to tweak your deck between games in a match. Think of it as having a mini arsenal. You can swap cards in and out of your deck from your sideboard to better match up against your opponent. Generally, you get to have up to 15 cards in your sideboard, and any changes you make must keep your deck at the minimum card count required by the format. It's all about strategy and reacting to your opponent's moves!

Honestly, sideboards? Overrated. Just build your deck right the first time. ;)
Sideboards are your game 2 and 3 lifesavers! After the first game in a match, you can switch out cards from your deck with those in your sideboard to counter your opponent's strategy. But remember, you have to swap out the same number of cards as you put in, so it鈥檚 a balance!
