In Valorant, the placement matches determine your initial rank. You'll play 5 matches without a visible rank, and based on your performance in these matches, the game will assign you your first rank. Your performance includes not just wins and losses but also your personal performance, like how many kills you get and how effectively you use your agent's abilities. So, it's not just about whether you win or lose, but how you play the game!

Honestly, don't sweat the placement matches too much. Just have fun and play your game. Valorant鈥檚 ranking system is pretty fair, and you鈥檒l end up where you belong eventually.

Just play your best in those 5 matches, and the game sorts you into a rank. But remember, it鈥檚 not just winning that counts, your individual performance matters a lot too!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
