Can't add friends in State of Decay 2. Multiplayer's invite-only. Xbox Live or bust, folks!
I used to struggle with this too, but it’s all about using the Xbox Live interface! Just send a friend invite and you’re good to go!
To add friends in State of Decay 2, simply head to the Xbox or Microsoft Store (`Game Bar` if you're on PC) and send a friend request to your buddy. Once they're listed as a friend, load up the game, access the multiplayer menu, and invite them to join your apocalypse!
