Adding friends on PS5 is super easy! Just go to the 'Friends' tab on the control center, select 'Search,' type in their username, and hit 'Add Friend.' You'll be gaming together in no time!
From my experience, head to the Friends tab, search their username, and boom—request sent! It's streamlined compared to the PS4.
Hit the PS button, go to Game Base, and select 'Search for Players.' Enter their PSN ID, and send that friend request already. Happy gaming!
