Trust me, I had to do this once. Go to their profile, click the three dots, select 'Block', and confirm. It works like a charm!

Easy peasy! Go to the profile of the person you want to block. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner, then select 'Block'. Confirm, and voilà, they are blocked!
