Blocking? Ain't nobody got time for that. Just shoot 'em before they get close enough to hit you. Problem solved.

To block an attack in Fallout 76, just tap the right mouse button on PC, the L2 button on PS4, or the LT button on Xbox One. Timing is everything; hit it right when they're about to smack you for maximum effect!

As someone who's spent a shameful amount of hours in Fallout 76, I can say mastering the block has saved my hide more times than I can count. Timing your block just as an enemy attacks not only minimizes the damage, but it also opens them up for a counter. It's a game changer in melee fights.

Just slap that L2/LT/right mouse button at the right moment! But for real, blocking is super useful against melee attackers. Don't expect to block bullets or lasers with your arms though, not how physics works in this or any universe.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
