Just unmatch them. It's the closest thing you get to blocking on Tinder.
You can't technically 'block' people on Tinder, but unmatching them does the trick. Go to the chat, hit the shield, and unmatch!
Go to their profile, tap the three dots in the top right corner, and select 'Unmatch'. They'll be out of your swiping life forever!
I had to do this once. Just go to the chat, hit the shield icon, and select 'Unmatch'. Problem solved!
