You don't really "catch" cockroaches in Animal Crossing, you exterminate them. If your house gets infested because you've been away too long, just sprint across them. It's oddly satisfying!

Nah, you can't catch 'em like fish or bugs. Just run over them and they'll *poof* disappear. It's more about pest control than catching.

Catching a cockroach in Animal Crossing isn't like catching other critters! You don't use a net but instead, you squash them by walking over them. It sounds a bit brutal, but it's the only way. They usually appear in your house if you haven't played the game for a while, so keep an eye (and foot) out!

Sorry to burst the bubble, but you can't add cockroaches to your collection. They're not like the butterflies or fish. You squish them. It's a bit of a letdown if you're aiming for a 'pacifist run.'

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
