Honestly, scorpion catching is overrated. Why stress over virtual bugs when you could be decorating your house or fishing? But hey, if you must, remember - slow and steady wins the race.

Catching a scorpion in Animal Crossing might seem scary, but it's all about timing and patience! First, you gotta spot the lil' critter roaming around your island at night between 7 PM and 4 AM, typically from May to October. When you see one, slow down! You don't wanna spook it. Equip your net, but before you approach, press and hold 'A' to start sneaking. Creep up close, but the moment it raises its pincers, stop moving! Wait till it chills and lowers its guard, then release 'A' to swing your net. Boom, you've caught yourself a scorpion! Remember, practice makes perfect. If you get stung, you'll just wake up in front of your house, so no biggie. Happy hunting!

Just run at it and swing your net. Works every time... if you don't mind waking up in front of your house over and over.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
