To catch sharks in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, keep an eye out during the summer months (June to September in the Northern Hemisphere, and December to March in the Southern Hemisphere). Sharks have fins that stick out of the water, making them easier to spot. Make sure you're fishing during these months and look for those distinctive fin shadows! Once you see one, cast your line and wait for the shark to bite. When it pulls down your bobber, press A to reel it in. Patience and timing are key!

It's all luck, no skill. Just fish and hope for the best.

Just fish for them during the summer! Their fins give them away. Easy peasy.

Honestly, catching sharks isn't as hard as it sounds. Just make sure you fish when you see a fin. I caught my first shark without even trying too hard, just was chilling on the beach one evening. Keep at it, and you'll snag one!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
