To change your NAT type on PS4, go into your router settings and enable UPnP. If that doesn't work, try port forwarding the specific ports used by PlayStation Network.

Good luck! Just call your ISP. They usually help with this sort of thing if you can't figure it out.

Here's the trick鈥攍og into your router settings and look for the DMZ option. Put your PS4's IP address in there. Boom, open NAT!

First-hand tip: I changed my NAT type to OPEN by manually setting a static IP on my PS4 and forwarding the necessary ports on my router. Took a bit of patience, but totally worth it for smoother gaming!

You need to access your router's admin panel and turn on UPnP (Universal Plug and Play). This usually helps to change NAT types effectively.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
