Unfortunately, you can't charge a PS3 controller wirelessly. But you can find replacement cords pretty cheap online if you lost yours.

I always just plug my PS3 controller into my laptop's USB port when I lose the original cable. Works like a charm!

You can't charge a PS3 controller without the cord, but you can use a compatible phone charger or even your PC's USB port as a workaround!
