If you're using Windows 10 or 11, open the Xbox Console Companion app and select 'Connection' from the left panel. Your Xbox and laptop need to be on the same network. Find your console and hit 'Connect'. Boom, you're good to go!

I connected my Xbox Series X to my laptop using a capture card. It was seamless and perfect for recording gameplay. Highly recommend!

Just saying, but connecting via Wi-Fi might give you a bit of lag. It's better to go wired if you can!

Got an HDMI cable lying around? Plug one end into your Xbox and the other into your laptop's HDMI input. Switch your laptop to the correct HDMI input source, and you're set!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
