Keep it simple: Get to level 15, do Rose's 'Flavors of Mayhem' quest, collect a frag grenade, and some tasty radstag or mole rat meat. Craft it at a Tinker's Workbench. Done.

Crafting explosive bait in Fallout 76 is like cooking with a touch of danger! First thing, you gotta hit level 15 because that's when the fun starts. Then, you find yourself in the Rose’s questline at Top of the World. Keep pushing through until you hit the 'Flavors of Mayhem' quest. Rose will teach you the art of mayhem, including how to craft the explosive bait. You'll need a Tinker's Workbench and some specific ingredients: a frag grenade and some radstag or mole rat meat. Mix them all together, and *boom*, you've got yourself some explosive bait!
