Swipe over to the Chats tab, hit the new chat icon (little speech bubble with a +), then select New Group. You'll be prompted to add group members and name the group.
Easy peasy! Just open WhatsApp, tap on the 'Chats' tab, then the 'New Chat' button, and select 'New Group'. Add your friends, give your group a cool name, and you're good to go!
