To cut trees down in Animal Crossing, you'll need two things: an axe and some muscle power! Okay, maybe not muscle power since it's a video game, but you get the gist. First, you gotta craft or buy an axe. Once you've got your axe, just walk up to the tree you wanna say bye to, and start swinging. After a few hits, timber! Down goes the tree. Remember, there are different types of axes, and some are for getting wood while others are specifically for chopping down trees.

Just get an axe and whack the tree a few times. Down it goes. Easy peasy.

Pro tip: Make sure to shake the trees before you cut them down. You wouldn't want to miss out on any hidden treasures, like money or rare items! And don't forget about the stumps; some bugs only appear on those.

If you're feeling a little remorse about cutting down those cute trees in Animal Crossing, just remember: use the stone axe! It lets you harvest wood without actually felling the tree. Oh, and if you accidentally chop down your favorite tree, don't sweat it. Just plant a new one. The circle of life continues.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
