I've done this before! Just hop into 'Settings & Privacy', then 'Settings', find 'Your Facebook Information', and click 'Deactivation and Deletion'. Then choose 'Deactivate Account' and hit that confirm button!
Click on the little arrow at the top right, go to 'Settings & Privacy', hit 'Settings', then 'Your Facebook Information'. Choose 'Deactivation and Deletion' and follow the steps.
