Just head over to your profile, click the three lines in the top right, go to 'Settings,' then 'Security,' and then hit 'Clear Search History.' Easy peasy!

I've done this before. You simply need to open the app, go to your profile, tap the menu icon, select 'Settings,' go to 'Security,' and then clear your search history.
