Use high-penetration tank shells or artillery strikes when you're on the ground. Remember, regular machine gun fire won't cut it.
Honestly, just avoid them unless you have the right firepower. Better keep cruising and take out something more manageable.
From my experience, dive bombing with a plane can be super effective. Just make sure you have enough altitude to pull up after the drop.
