Deactivating is a piece of cake! Log into Instagram on a web browser (not the app), go to your profile, select 'Edit Profile,' and at the bottom, you'll see 'Temporarily disable my account.'
Go on the Instagram website, not the app, and access your profile. Find 'Edit Profile' and use the 'Temporarily disable my account' link.
