You just need to open Facebook Messenger, search for the person you wanna message, and type away!
From personal experience, I find it easiest to go directly to the person's profile, click on 'Message', and start typing!
Click the little Messenger bubble at the top, search for your friend's name, and shoot them a message. Happy chatting!
