Just press the button, dude. When they're knocked down, go close, and the game literally tells you what to press. It's more about whether you SHOULD do it, cause it leaves you open to get shot by their buddies.
lol, why bother? Just shoot em. Quicker, safer, and you don't get caught in some long animation.
