To become a fashion designer in Sims FreePlay, your sim needs to select the 'Fashion Designer' career from the list of available jobs, complete tasks at the fashion studio, and level up through working their shifts. You can also buy special career-related items to speed up the process!

You gotta choose the Fashion Designer career in the Career tab and then just work your way up at the fashion studio. Easy peasy!
I became a fashion designer on Sims FreePlay by tapping on the ‘Fashion Studio’ and assigning my Sim to work there. It’s a lot of fun to see them level up!
Just go to the Career tab, pick Fashion Designer, and then send your Sim to work at the fashion studio. Enjoy watching them slay the runway!
