From personal experience, using codes is simple! Just go to a Police Station or Train Station, find the ATM machine, enter your code, and cash in your rewards.
You'll need to find an ATM. There's one in the Police Station, another at the Bank, and one more at the Train Station. Just walk up to it, click on it, enter your code, and hit redeem. Done and done.
