Favoriting items in Terraria is super easy! Just hold down the 'Alt' key and left-click on the item you want to favorite. This prevents the item from accidentally being sold, dropped, or placed in a chest. Pretty handy for keeping your most important gear safe!

Trying to favorite an item but keep throwing it instead? Make sure you're not in the throw mode. Hold the Alt key and left-click the item. Boom, favorited! This has saved my best weapons and tools from disappearing more times than I can count.
