Fishing in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is super chill! First, you gotta snag yourself a fishing rod. You can buy one from Nookling stores or get it as a gift from villagers. Once you have your rod, head over to any body of water. Look for the dark silhouettes of fish in the water, then stand facing them. Cast your line with 'A', and wait for the fish to bite. You'll see the bobber dip completely under water when it does - that's your cue to press 'A' again to reel it in. Patience is key. Happy fishing!

Just press A to cast, wait, and press A to reel in when the fish bites. Easy peasy.

Honestly, it's all about the timing. Wait for the bobber to dive under, then hit A immediately. It's simple once you get the hang of it, but it can be tricky to master the perfect moment!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
