For software problems, safe mode is your friend. Boot into safe mode and try options like 'Rebuild Database' or 'Restore Default Settings'.
For disk read errors, check for scratches on your game discs. A scratched disk can cause all sorts of problems.
If all else fails, contact PlayStation Support. They're usually pretty good at helping out with stubborn issues.
If your PS4 keeps overheating, make sure it's in a well-ventilated area. PS4s need to breathe!
