Friending someone on ACNH is pretty straightforward! First, you gotta visit their island or have them visit yours using a Dodo Code. After you've met in-game, open your NookPhone, go to the 'Best Friends List' app, and you'll see them in the list of people you've played with. From there, you can send a friend request! Once they accept, boom, you’re besties. Remember, both of you need a Nintendo Online subscription to visit each other’s islands.

Honestly, the friend system in ACNH feels a bit clunky. But once you get the hang of it, visiting each other's islands and trading stuff becomes super fun!

Just visit their island or invite them over and bam, you can add them right after through the NookPhone. Easy peasy!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
