You actually can't "get" a Crimson Altar like you would with items or blocks you can pick up and move. Crimson Altars are naturally generated in the world when you create it, specifically in the Crimson biome. You'll need to explore your world's Crimson areas to find them. Remember, you can't move them, but you can use them right where they are for crafting certain items and boss summoning items!

Actually, once you have the Pwnhammer or better, you CAN destroy Crimson Altars after defeating the Wall of Flesh. But why would you want to? They're super useful for crafting. Plus, smashing them does spawn Hardmode ores but also potentially corrupts your world further. Be careful!

Bro, you can't pick up or move Crimson Altars, no matter how hard you try. They're part of the world gen in Crimson biomes. Just find them and use them there. Smashing them without the right tool will hurt you, so don't even try it.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
