How do you get a dog in GTA 5?
Just get Chop after the mission and he's all yours. No need to complicate it. Chop is the only dog you get in GTA 5.

In GTA 5, getting a dog isn't like your usual pet store visit, but it's not too hard either! You can't just buy a dog, but you can get one through completing the Franklin's 'Chop' mission. Once you've done that, Chop, the Rottweiler, will be your loyal buddy. You can also interact with him, like going for walks or playing fetch, to keep the bond strong!
GTA 5 doesn't let you have any dog you want, but Chop is basically the dream dog after you finish the right mission. Plus, walking him and playing fetch is super chill!
