To get a hold, bring in a relief pitcher who enters the game with a lead of 3 runs or fewer and maintains that lead until the next pitcher takes over — without finishing the game. Timing is everything!

Secure a hold by pitching effectively as a reliever with a small lead and not giving up that lead. Easy peasy!

Just pop in a reliever when you're up by 3 runs or less, get some good outs, and hand it off. Simple as that!

I've got a bunch of holds by bringing in my relief pitchers with a 1-3 run lead, getting outs, and then letting another pitcher take over. Works like a charm!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
