Getting a loom in Terraria is pretty straightforward but requires a bit of crafting first. You need to gather 12 pieces of wood at a sawmill. If you don't have a sawmill yet, you gotta craft one using 10 wood, 2 iron or lead bars, and 1 chain at a workbench. Once you have your sawmill set up, use it to craft the loom. Then, you're all set to start crafting cloth items!

Just hit up a sawmill with some wood, and craft it. Easy peasy.

Honestly, I've played Terraria for years, and crafting a loom is as simple as it gets. Sawmill, wood, done. You'll be crafting fancy silk for your beds in no time. Pro tip: make sure to have a nice crafting area set up so you can get to everything easily.
