To get a roommate in The Sims FreePlay, you just need to add more Sims to your house. Go to your Sim's home, click on a vacant spot, and select 'Add Sim.' Keep in mind that you'll need to have enough Simoleons or LP to do this!

Just place another Sim in the same house. Use the 'Add Sim' button, and you're all set.

You can't actually have roommates in the traditional sense, but just add another Sim to the house and ta-da!
