To get your Best Friends list in Animal Crossing, you gotta start by playing online! You'll need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription first. Then, once you visit another player's island or they visit yours, you can ask them to be your Best Friend in the game through the Nook Phone. This lets you do more stuff together, like send messages even when you're not both online.

Honestly, it's overrated. Just enjoy the game and interact with the villagers. Your real friends know who they are, no need for a list in a game.

Easiest way? Have someone visit your island or visit theirs! After that, just pull out your Nook Phone in the game, and you should see an app to add them as a Best Friend. It鈥檚 like sending a friend request on social media but way cooler 'cause it's Animal Crossing.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
