To get Blathers, the adorable museum curator owl in Animal Crossing, you gotta show some hustle! First up, chat with Tom Nook at Resident Services. Hand over 5 different fish or bugs to him. Nook will get a sparkle in his eye and decide it's museum time. He'll then give you a tent which you place anywhere you like. Sleep on it, and boom, the next day Blathers has landed, ready to ooh and aah over your fossils and critters.

Just give Tom Nook 5 critters (fish or bugs, he's not picky) and place Blathers' tent. EZ.

Honestly, getting Blathers is too easy. Just donate some bugs and fish to Tom Nook and he practically does the rest for you. I miss the challenge.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
