Hot take: Just buy them from someone else. Iron nuggets are super common in the Animal Crossing trading groups. Might save you the hassle of whacking rocks all day.

From personal experience, don't forget to check the beach each day. Sometimes, those shiny balloons flying over your island can drop a present containing iron nuggets. Always keep a slingshot handy!

The best way to stock up on iron nuggets is by hitting rocks on your island with a shovel or an axe. Remember, you can hit each rock multiple times, up to 8 times, if you position yourself correctly, so don't leave after the first hit! Also, avoid eating fruit before hitting the rocks, as you'll break them instead of getting the goodies. If you've exhausted your island's rocks for the day, consider using a Nook Miles Ticket to visit other islands and harvest their rocks too.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
