You can get pets in Roblox Islands by hatching eggs you buy from the Animal Care shop or from merchants. Happy farming!
I got my pet by hatching a pet egg from the Pet Shop Vendor. I think it's the only way right now!
From my experience, the best way is to purchase an animal egg at the Animal Care shop and wait for it to hatch. Totally worth it!
