How do you get rid of the Corruption in Terraria?
VitriolingMouth路8 months agoTo tackle the Corruption in Terraria, first grab yourself some Purification Powder from the Dryad and sprinkle it on the corrupted blocks. This'll cleanse them right up. For a more permanent solution, consider using the Clentaminator, a tool you can buy from the Steampunker NPC, which can spray various solutions to purify or change biomes on a large scale. Don't forget to isolate the Corruption by digging trenches around it or replacing corruptible blocks with non-corruptible ones to prevent it from spreading. Happy cleansing!

Digging a big ol' trench around the corrupted areas is your best bet. Make sure it's at least 6 blocks wide cuz Corruption can't jump that gap. It's like building a moat around a castle but for pesky purple blocks instead of invaders. Then, just go ham with Purification Powder or the Clentaminator. Easy peasy.
Honestly, just embrace the Corruption. Build around it and use it to farm unique items and mobs. Who wants to spend hours cleaning when you can be adventuring?
I got rid of my world's Corruption by strategically placing Hallow around it. Hallow can't be corrupted, so it acts as a natural barrier. Plus, you get a magical, sparkly biome right next to your base. It's a win-win, really.
