To get the modeling hobby in The Sims FreePlay, you need to build the Sunset Mall. After unlocking it, direct your Sims to the Fashion Store to begin their runway career!
In my experience, unlocking the Sunset Mall was key. Once built, you can send your Sims to the Fashion Store to strut their stuff and kickstart their modeling hobby.
Just build Sunset Mall and head to the Fashion Store. Easy peasy!
