How do you get the true ending in Undertale?
Basically, make friends with everyone and don't kill anything! Spare all enemies and complete side quests to befriend key characters. Then return to Alphys’s lab.

Do a Pacifist run and befriend Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys. Visit Alphys's lab last.
To get the true ending in Undertale, you need to complete a Pacifist run by sparing every enemy, befriending Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys, and then visiting Alphys's laboratory after defeating Asgore.
No shortcuts here: spare everyone, befriend everyone, and wrap it all up by visiting Alphys's lab post-Asgore fight. Trust me, it's worth it!
