You can't directly give robux to other players on Roblox, but you can buy them a game pass or a group payout if you're in a group together.
You can't give robux to other players directly on iPad. Use the official Roblox site for Gift Cards instead.
From personal experience, the easiest way is to create a private game pass and have your friend buy it. That way, you can transfer robux indirectly.
