Grading Pokemon cards is all about checking their condition and authenticity. You gotta look for scratches, bends, and any wear on the edges. The centering of the image on the card is also key. If you think you've got a card in prime condition, consider sending it to a professional grading service like PSA, Beckett, or CGC. They'll give it a thorough evaluation and assign it a grade that reflects its condition and overall quality. This can significantly affect the card's value!

Just eyeball it. If it looks pretty and shiny, it's probably good.

Been collecting for years and it's always been about the details. Check for whitening on the edges, any surface scratches, and how well the card is centered. A magnifying glass helps. Then, if you're serious, send it to a pro grader. They use a 10-point scale where a 10 means the card is practically perfect. It's a bit of an investment, but for valuable cards, it's worth it.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
