Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds until it shuts off. Unplug the power cord for a minute or two, then plug it back in and restart. Simple as that!

Easy! Just hold down the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it turns off completely. Then unplug the power cable for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning the console on again. Voila, hard reset done!
