I use the 'Take a Break' feature. It gives you control over what you'll see from them and what they'll see from you. Win-win!
You can also hide their posts by clicking the three dots on one of their posts and selecting 'Snooze [Name] for 30 days'. Perfect for short breaks!
Head to Settings & Privacy > Settings > News Feed Preferences > Unfollow people to hide their posts without unfriending them. Done and dusted!
Easy peasy! Just go to their profile, click on the 'Friends' button, and then select 'Unfollow'. They won't show up on your feed anymore, but you'll still be friends!
