You can't hide mutual friends. Just keep your friend list private, and it will limit visibility.
Unfortunately, there's no direct way to hide mutual friends. Your best bet is to limit who can see your overall friend list.
Trust me, I've tried. You can't hide mutual friends. But really, limiting who can see your friend list is your best option.
