Use the PCI (Plate Coverage Indicator) to line up with the pitch location. The better your timing and PCI placement, the better your hit!

Timing is everything! Wait for the pitch and use the contact button (X on PlayStation or A on Xbox) for a higher chance of hitting the ball accurately.

Experiment with different hitting styles in the settings. Find what works best for you, whether it's directional, zone, or pure analog hitting.

Honestly, it's just practice. Spend some time in batting practice mode to get a feel for different pitch types and speeds.

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
