You can't jump in the traditional sense like in other games! But if you wanna 'hop' across rivers, you need a vaulting pole. Craft one at your workbench using softwood. For hopping over small gaps between cliffs, just walk up to the edge and push your joystick in the direction you want to hop. No button pressing required, just a leap of faith!

Jumping? In Animal Crossing? Just get yourself a vaulting pole and you're good to go for rivers. Otherwise, you can't really 'jump' jump.

Honestly, jumping isn't what you think in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It's more about strategically hopping with a vaulting pole for rivers or small gaps. So, no spacebar action here, folks.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
